~*September Giveaway*~

Autumn has to be my most favorite time of year. When I moved up North, going on 4 yrs now, I got to really experience it in a new way. I adore Farmers Markets, apple cider, and the cool crisp air of Autumn.
Soooo, on to the giveaway, hee hee... That is why I chose this festive basket to decorate your home for this months giveaway. It's just a plain jane wooden twig basket with pumkins and a gourd mixed with beautiful colored Autumn leaves and berries. Also included in the giveaway is a bag of "Harvest Home" simmering potpourri - I plum forgot to toss it in the photo. Needless to say, it smells divine!
If you'd like to be included this month in the drawing, please leave your favorite Fall memory as a comment on this blog entry. Also, let me know your email or some way to get in contact with ya. I will hold the drawing on Thursday Oct. 1st and ship promptly.
Happy Fall Y'all, Marissa of Raggedy Cabin

What a wonderful giveaway! I would love to be the winner...:)My favorite memory of fall is taking the children to the Pumpkin Farm, where they chose their pumpkins, drank apple cider, rode a hayride, and ate popcorn. Wonderful way to spend a cool crisp Autumn day!

My favorite fall memory is when we would take all 5 of our kids to the apple orchard and pick a bushel of apples. I do believe they ate more then they picked.
I love this fall arrangement Marissa and really hope to win it for my dining room table

Well, I probably should say the same type of memory, BUT my favorite fall memory is back in college ~ a hayride with my new beau, who is now my dh of over 40 years. He was a total hunk in those days. Our song was "Light My Fire" by the Doors. In all honesty he is still my sweetheart, just a whole lot grumpier now...lol Jo

The basket is beautiful and would look great on my dining room table.
My favorite Fall memory is a family reunion in a State Park. Seems all my best memories center around our family.
We have another one coming up this weekend, more memories to cherish.

My favorite fall memory is over 20 years ago, when we lived in Michigan ( we live in Pennsylvania ). We would take our kids to an apple cider mill on the weekend where they had tours of how apple cider was made ( you would not believe how many apples it takes!!) We would get samples of the cider and hot donuts.
Then on to the pumpkin farm. I would love to do that with the grandkids now, but there are no apple cider mills in PA that I know of.

Please enter me in your giveaway - the fall arrangement is just lovely!!
Thank you

Beautiful giveaway. Please enter my name on it. My favorite memory was last year at the first time that I see the marvelous color of the fall. I am not kidding. Living all my life in a beautiful island in the Caribbean we can't see a dramatic change in the trees but living here in VA the situation change. I love the leaves color in this season.

Fall has been my favorite season all my life. UP here in northern Maine, we really experience all there is to experience; the vibrant colors, the crisp nip in the air, wood smoke wafting on the breeze. One memory is during my first pregnancy. BAby was due Oct/Nov and I didn't have food cravings, but boy I DID have fall decorating cravings! That was when decorating wasn't such a big thing as it is now. I drove for miles up and down our valley looking for someone selling pumpkins...nodda to be found. I had to settle for cattails in an old milk container. Next year I planted pumpkins and have since then for 30 years! We have been selling pumpkins and other fall decor for many years, but that first craving of mine will be remembered forever. THe start of valley decorating...freeindeed at myfairpoint dot net

The change of the aspen trees in all their brilliant colors is one of my favorite fall memories. I miss the changing seasons here in FL. Beautiful give away choice, Rissa.

What an eye for color and arranging you have! Thanks for the giveaway. My favorite fall memory is from when my son was small and I was a room Mom. We went to a farm w/the kids and they got to pick pumpkins and bob for apples. We rode w/them on a hay ride and saw the beautiful fall colors. Anything through a child's eye seems so much better!

My favorite fall memory is jumping in piles of freshly raked leaves... I had so much fun tossing them around with the kids and making a secret cabin out of the leaves...I also love to check out the local Fall foliage during their peak as well, simply gorgeous!

Hi Marissa,
I love your fall basket...it would look perfect on the black dresser in my foyer.
My favorite fall memory is my wedding day...we're celebrating our 25th this year. We took pictures in a park under a huge oak tree with with the colorful leaves laying on the grass and a pond in the background. Every time the wind blew it would rain leaves from the tree. The pictures turned out wonderful!
Happy Fall,
